Residential · Commercial · Since 1996
Shree Realty has spent three decades learning the difference between a structure and a home — the way light moves across lime plaster, the way a door should close, the way a courtyard should sound at dusk.
6 cities · 6 live projects
A building is not a product. It is the place you wake up in for thirty years — and the only honest way to make one is to take the time it actually takes.
We are not the largest developer in Gujarat and we have never tried to be. Since 1996 we have built seventeen projects by hand, with our own studio, our own site teams and our own masons — and we have kept a service desk on every building we have handed over.

Ahmedabad · Bopal
Nine towers around one very old rain tree.

Ahmedabad · Sarkhej – Gota
A water court in the middle of every four homes.

Pune · Baner
A jali facade that does the shading for you.
Our projects look like each other. Not because we copy a template, but because the same four materials keep turning up — and because the people who cut, beat and trowel them are the same people, on every site.

Kheda district, 90 km from site
Quarried in small batches and hand-finished so the face keeps the marks of the chisel. Laid dry, without mortar, and pointed every second monsoon.

Fabricated in-house, Karkhana workshop
Each sheet is planished by hand until it holds a soft, uneven reflection. Used for screens, latches, handles and the brass letters in the lobby.

Salvaged, kiln-dried to 8% moisture
Salvaged timber, not plantation, dried slowly in our own kiln. Used for doors, window frames and the long community tables in the clubhouse.

Applied and cured on site
Three coats, each trowelled by hand and left to cure for twenty-one days. It moves with the building instead of cracking across it, and it breathes.
12 months of study
We buy slowly and we buy once. Every parcel gets twelve months of zoning, drainage and shadow studies before a single drawing is made.
In-house, 14 people
In-house studio, no outsourced drawings. One architect carries a project from the first line to the last day of site, which is the only way a plan stays honest.
Site-made, not flat-pack
Stone is cut on site. Brass is beaten on site. Timber is fitted on site. We would rather slow the programme than move the craft off the building.
41-point audit
A forty-one point audit before handover, signed off by our own team and then again by an independent one. Snag lists are published, not hidden.
5 years on site
We keep a service team in the building for five years after you move in. Most builders call you at the defects period. We keep calling after it ends.
We are a western India builder. Our projects sit in Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, Pune, Mumbai and Nashik — and the studio in Ahmedabad decides what happens in all of them.
Ahmedabad
Home ground. Four projects live here.
Surat
Our fastest-moving market.
Vadodara
Low-density work, large plots.
Pune
Our first project east of Gujarat.
Mumbai
Redevelopment, in partnership.
Nashik
Plot development, 2027.

I started Shree Realty in 1996 with one rule, which was that we would not build anything we could not walk through ourselves before it was sold.
That sounds like a small thing. It has cost us land twice and it has cost us a year of margin more than once. But a building is a thing people live inside for thirty years, and nobody in the business can hide behind a brochure when the light is wrong at four in the afternoon.
We have never been the biggest developer in Gujarat and we have never tried to be. We have tried to be the one that still answers its phone in year nine. Most of the people who bought from us in 2003 still call us before they sell. That is the whole business model.
We were shown three other projects. Shree was the only one where the person showing us the flat knew what was behind the wall. You can feel that when a building was actually made by somebody who cared about it.

The brass in the lobby took four months longer than the plan allowed. I asked about it once, at the launch, and got a straight answer. That is the reason we bought the second one.
Aditi Raval
Owner, Vasudha Courtyards
We moved in three years after booking. In that time the same project manager was still on site and still answered the phone. I did not expect that and I did not think it was normal.

Owner, Kaveri Heights, Surat
We do not sell from a drawing. Every walkthrough takes about ninety minutes, on the floor you are actually buying, and somebody from the studio comes with you.
